Trading Armour
I think that is you make armour it should work for everyone in your class. I don't think that if you make no one else can. I think that you should be able to trade it and that armour works for everyone in the same class as it. THIS WOULD MAKE THE TRADE SKILLS WAAAAY BETTER!

Sorry, but I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying, but I think I have a good guess.
Trading armor off of characters would never work because you wouldn't have to do any work at all to get anything. It would take a huge chunk out of the game and throw it out. The second you get out of Pre-Searing you could have perfect armor... There really is no need for that other than laziness/the "Diablo 2-I want to be perfect at the lowest possible level attitude"
Also, Imagine what would happen to the economy. The people in Ascalon seeing the message of "WTS FORGE ARMOR - 100k FOR A SET." The economy would be completely ruined. High level characters would come back and sell armor for inflated prices to low level characters, and chaos would begin.

Agreed, it would serve no purpose, and they'd be no point of buying and playing the game it would be a total waste.............

How is selling a top-end, incredibly valuable item like a end-game armor set going to RUIN the economy? The economy of a game is merely a reflection (as in life itself) of the relative cost of goods based on what people will buy them for (to simplify). So, if the armor is really, really valuable and was hard to craft, then it SHOULD be worth a lot. Given the law of Supply and Demand, in fact, the cost of such goods should go down as more and more people get these items and introduce them into the supply chain. N00bs like me, with only about 500 gold to their name at any given time won't be able to afford them anyway, so unless I'm gifted a suit form someone else I'll not be buying it.

Well why dont you play the game through and work for better armour, if people are just going to sell high end armour, then all people would do would be to "farm" for gold, and buy it, and it would make guild wars into a bad game in my opinion, and NCsoft would stop this as it would get out of hand quite quickly....
